To identify with Personality
Is to believe that One is separate.
That sense of ‘me’ or ‘I’ that has that belief
Can claim all sorts of things for itself:
It can claim to be superior or inferior, good or bad, powerful or weak.
It can also claim to be something called ‘enlightened’.
If we define enlightenment
As the Seeing beyond the separate sense of ‘I’ and ‘me’
Then it is clear that this claim is mistaken.
If it is known that there is no ’I’ or ‘me’
Then who is there
To claim enlightenment?
